Mamey Design is a paper and branding studio founded by
Marion Meythaler. The name Mamey (pronounced May
may!) is a combination of the first letters of her first
and last name.
Marion attended the architecture
school at the University of Virginia, spent almost a
decade designing womenswear for Ralph Lauren in New York, and later worked in product design for several small companies before discovering that her favorite expressions of creativity are watercolor and graphic design.
Marion is also passionate about textiles, artisan craftsmanship, and whimsy. She is well-practiced at distilling ideas into a concise visual aesthetic, and her happy place lies at the intersection of clean lines and a playful explosion of color.
Marion and her husband, Nick, live in Charlottesville, VA where they are raising their three daughters—Lachlan, Lucie Cole, and Ellis.
